silent arts AOC51X Optical Compressor

The AOC51x is a version of the Analag Optical Compressor for the 51x Alliance 551 rack.  The AOC51x is optical compressor that, unlike the D-AOC, employs a totally solid-state design.

Notable Features:

  • Uses Pikatron or Lundahl transformers
  • Stereo link switch
  • +/-16v or +/-24 voltage rails set via jumpers
  • VU meter
  • Accepts DOA or IC opamps
