The L2A’s three-way filter switch makes re-amping any source imaginable a breeze. The low-pass filter (LPF) tames high-frequencies, useful for mellowing out guitars and other bright sources, while the high-pass filter (HPF) is perfect for tidying up the low-end and sub-bass frequencies.

Kit was complete and all components tested well. Assembly instructions were good. Sound quality was good. There is no coloration change in tone during testing. Handy box!
I ran my synth through it, and the tone comes back warm and clear. The build quality is solid, and the signal stays clean with just the right amount of character. It was also very easy to build. It took me a few hours, but that's only because I'm a perfectionist.
I should have done an unboxing video, it was put together so nicely! All parts are top quality, from the custom extruded metal housing to the heavy duty PCB. Designed for an easy build with basic soldering skills. A parts list would be nice for a larger project, but its lack was no problem here. The directions provided step by step photos which make all clear. Build took 40 minutes at a leisurely pace. Set up for use was easy and in less than 5 minutes I was playing with my pedals while audio streamed out of the DAW. Thanks so much folks! Got my eye on a color preamp next 😉
